About Amora

Our ‘A’ litter is made up of six absolutely stunning puppies, two boys, Ash and Amigo, and four girls, Abby, Amora, Asha and Aster. They came into our care after their mother, Diana (Lady Diana, if you please), was rescued from the streets as a heavily pregnant stray. She was thankfully offered a foster home where she was able to give birth to her babies in a safe, warm space, surrounded by love and kindness.

Amora’s name means ‘love’, and this girl is truly nothing but love! She has a very sweet personality and is super playful, both with people and other dogs. She loves chasing after a toy, a sibling, a ball - whatever it is Amora is down to play! She has an adorable expression when she’s learning something new, and she’s a very brave little pup who, even if she’s initially a bit unsure, will follow a noise or check out a new person. She is definitely a social butterfly and considers herself to be everyone’s friend, so we can see her settling into a new family with little resistance!

Now old enough to be integrated into the shelter, the pups are growing into gorgeous little characters and are looking to find their forever homes. They will be ready to fly in September, and we’re hopeful that they will all find homes quickly, allowing them to transition to a companion lifestyle and a proper home at the earliest age possible. This will really benefit their socialisation, bonding with their new family, and ongoing training. We don’t have any concerns about the puppies being adopted into homes with other dogs or children, and as long as their new families are patient and understanding we believe they could coexist alongside confident cats too.

It’s a bit too early to be certain, but based on mum, and their current appearance, we’re assuming the pups are a mix of spaniel and hound. They are all friendly, curious, cheeky and playful, and would be a great addition for homes looking for a fairly active and trainable young dog. All the pups are happy, healthy and good natured little things, but will need committed homes with families willing to dedicate the time, effort and training that a puppy needs to grow into a balanced adult. Puppies are hard working, but raising them is so rewarding if you’re ready for the challenge!

Amora is currently based in Cyprus and has a clean bill of health. She is ready to travel in September once she finds her forever home.

Please note, any mention of breed is nothing more than an educated guess based on what we know about the dog, their appearance, behaviour, and common breeds in their country of origin. We can never guarantee breed specifics, nor can we confirm the exact age of our dogs, unless they were born in our care. Age estimations are made by our vets based on the development of the dog, their general health and energy, and assessing their teeth.
