Ernie is a gentle young whippet who loves being around people and particularly children.  He is very enthusiastic about life (just don’t ask him to go out for walkies in the heavy rain!)  He loves a cuddle and a fuss and has enjoyed learning how to be a therapy dog.  He has two young human sisters at home and is looking forward to making lots of new friends when he comes to visit children in school. 

Like all sight hounds, Ernie loves a good ‘zoomies’ when he goes for a walk and particularly enjoys it when we meet up with other local whippet owners for a joint run about.  He loves to play games and his current favourite is hide and seek with his squeaky toys (or any slippers that have been left lying around!).  When he’s expended all his energy he can usually be found curled up snoozing in his fluffy cave shaped bed or in front of the fire.
