This handsome little guy wasn’t always so happy. Roger was found on the roadside as a stray in Lemnos, Greece, and he was in a sorry state. He was taken to a local shelter that did their very best for Roger, but he was so depressed in the confines of a miserable cage and he was desperate to get out.

Luckily for Roger he was offered a foster home in the UK by Fiona, one of the founders of Starlight Barking, and as soon as he arrived he began to blossom. Fiona was hoping to bring this depressed little pup back to the happy state he deserves but no sooner had Roger come back to life, she realised that he’d brought as much happiness to her life as she had to his. It was a done deal. Roger was there to stay!

Roger is now best friends with Ollie, Fiona’s son, and is well on his way to making friends with plenty more children. He is a sweetest soul with the most gentle, calm disposition, and he passed his therapy dog assessment with flying colours. Welcome to the pack, Roger!
