Peach’s story

We got Peach in March 2021 and had been looking for a rescue dog for a while. Underdog were so helpful and accommodating at making sure they found the right dog for us, and Peach is perfect!

We live in North London, both working office jobs, and before applying to Underdog we made sure that we were able to bring our new dog into work every day and that we had a support network and dog walkers.

I have grown up with dogs and our family dog is a rescue so I was aware of what it required. The Underdog team was so helpful through the whole process of getting Peach, and any information we needed after we got her, Eve was able to provide. It’s been a really smooth process.

 Our lives have changed and may not be as flexible as they use to be, but I wouldn’t change anything or Peach.

It has been an amazing two years with Peach and we can’t imagine our lives without her! She was really nervous to begin with and it took a lot of time and encouragement to get her settled, and she is still nervous sometimes. Everyone loves her and she has become a fixed member in our friendship group, my office and our family.

She enjoys working in Shoreditch, holidays in Scotland and daily walks round all the parks in Hackney where she meets other Underdogs!! We now plan trips to the coast as she loves the beach and she comes out regularly with us to restaurants and pubs, and she was part of our whole wedding!

I can’t thank Underdog enough for finding Peach for us.
