About Lancelot
Little Lancelot and his sister Mili came into the shelter after being found as strays. His sister has now been adopted, but Lancelot is still waiting for his new family to fall in love with him, and we’re confident they’re out there somewhere.
At around eight months old, Lancelot is still very much a baby and is looking for a home that’s prepared for the time and training a puppy requires. He’s a little reserved at first, and has often shadowed his sister in the shelter, looking to her for reassurance and feeling more confident in her company. Setting off into the world on his own will be a little challenging for him to begin with. At the moment he shares his kennel in the shelter with five other young dogs, and we believe having a canine companion would really benefit his transition into a conventional home setting. He’s friendly and good natured around other dogs, and having a resident pup to learn from would help Lancelot feel a little more at ease.
At such a young and adaptable age, Lancelot is sure to thrive with a bit of patience and love. A quieter home would suit him best, as the bustling shelter environment can sometimes feel overwhelming for him. He would love a peaceful setting, away from the busy city, with a garden where he can enjoy outdoor time at his own pace. Though he's still getting used to the idea of walks and finds them a little daunting, with some gentle encouragement, he will grow more comfortable with time.
Lancelot loves to use his nose and is often sniffing about in the shelter, on the hunt for a forgotten treat or a bit of kibble. He would definitely enjoy a home based a bit more rurally where there’s lots to explore, with a peaceful surrounding environment. The city wouldn’t be Lancelot’s preference - he’s a quieter soul - but we do believe that he could live in a home with children aged 7+. With a calm, relaxed household, this sweet puppy will blossom into a brilliant companion, he just needs a little time.
Lancelot is currently based in Cyprus and has a clean bill of health. He is ready to travel once he finds his forever home.
