About Madre

Madre is one of three all black puppies in the litter and has a sleek coat, bright eyes and a naturally alert expression. She’s really beautiful, and we really hope that she won’t get overlooked for her colouring. Like her siblings, she was found abandoned in a field, a sadly common reality in Cyprus for unwanted litters. Since arriving at the shelter, Madre has adapted well and is steadily growing into a lively, curious and affectionate young dog.

She is sociable, playful and very observant. She approaches new situations quite quickly and is always keen to say hello to new people. She will jump up excitedly along with the rest of the litter and loves being held and snuggled. As she is quick to engage with those around her, she shows early signs of being a fast learner.

Madre enjoys playing with her siblings, getting involved in games and greeting people with an ever wagging tail.

Because of her breed mix, she’ll benefit from a fairly active home environment with structure and regular stimulation. She would love access to a secure garden, time outdoors, and a home where she can be included in daily life. Madre is a balanced pup, full of energy, but not over the top, and she responds well to interaction, encouragement and positive reinforcement.
