Honey
Honey
When Gemma went to visit Honey and she made eye contact with this fluffy teddy bear, she knew it was meant to be! From the moment Honey went home, she loved everyone in the household, especially Gemma’s niece and nephew. It appears Honey was born to be a therapy dog…
There was a pattern – instead of playing with other dogs in the park, Honey would always want to be with the children. She has a HUGE love for people and children and likes nothing more than sitting with them, being cuddled and fussed. Gemma, who’s a teacher, took Honey into school with her and of course, Honey took to the children like a duck to water! Seeing the happiness and benefits that Honey brought, made Gemma 100% certain that this was a perfect role for Honey. Children who are anxious or sad, feel instantly calm and excited when Honey comes to say hello and if she’s not there, they always ask: “Honey’s Mummy, where is she today?” She truly is the best! Do you need more proof…?
There was a child who wouldn’t talk to anyone, only Honey, about her drawings, no one else. When asked anything, she would only respond to Honey. Fast forward a year later and this same child, with Honey’s help, is now confident in speaking to all adults and children. Yep…Honey really is magic.
