Mr Darcey is a nearly 10 year old Springer Spaniel. Now, you’ve probably heard that these dogs are a bit crazy; well, not Darcey! He is the calmest, most loving, gentle soul of a Spaniel ever. When he meets you and gets to know you, you will get the ‘Darcey cuddle’ where he puts his head between your knees for you to stroke him. This is his favourite place and it means he trusts you.

Mr Darcey lives with his human mum, Felicity, and two other Springer Spaniels: Thistle (he’s 7 and Darcey’s best friend) and the other called Pudding (she’s just a little puppy but is learning lots of good habits from her eldest brother). Mr Darcey loves being with children and helping them learn. When Felicity does tuition at home, he sits next to the children so that they can stroke him whilst they work – this helps them to relax and feel nice and calm too – he’s a natural therapy dog and can’t wait to visit more schools to help children with their confidence and learning.
