Nala’s story

Nala (originally Jennie) came to us at 4.5/5months old from Cyprus. After meeting Nala and her foster mummy Debbie for the first time (there were lots of happy tears!) we knew without a doubt that were ready to give her the home she deserved. We were so sad to hear that she had such a hard start to life after being found on the beaches of Paphos. 

The adoption process was so straight forward and we felt like we had so much support from the whole Underdog team. Eve and Debbie have been such an amazing help through Nala’s adoption. We were impressed by the fact behaviourists were on stand by and able to give any advice when we needed it. 

It took a little while to settle into her new home but once she did it seemed like she had been with us forever. We intended to take her to puppy training classes once she had settled in but due to COVID we have managed to do a lot of the training ourselves. We still maintain contact with Eve and Debbie and keep them updated on Nala’s progression. 

She absolutely loves to play ball, tearing her toys apart and getting the beans/zoomies! Long walks, laying in the sun and lots of cuddles & kisses are also favourites! Nala really enjoys meeting up with other puppy friends of all ages, shapes and sizes.

Nala has become and will remain such a massive and important part to our entire family. She has brought us so much joy and happiness in her time with us. We couldn’t imagine our lives without our mischievous, loving and perfect Princess Nala.

Underdog International is an amazing organisation. We can’t thank them enough for uniting us with Nala! One day we would like rescue again and when we do we will definately be contacting Underdog International.
