About Enzo

This sweet face belongs to Enzo, a charming and cheeky young pup with a heart of gold. Enzo was found as a stray at just two months old, and since arriving at the shelter this sweet boy has blossomed into a confident and playful companion with a personality that is a joy to be around. Enzo adores people and is super sociable, greeting everyone he meets with an enthusiastic wag of his tail. Whether it's visitors, volunteers, or new dogs arriving at the shelter, Enzo makes fast friends with everyone and gravitates towards a newcomer like a magnet.

Enzo is not only friendly but also incredibly affectionate. He loves being cuddled, stroked, and held, always leaning in for extra attention and welcoming being cradled like a baby. He also has a playful side which is evident when he's chasing balls, romping around with toys, or goofing around with his kennel pals. Despite his lively puppy energy, once he's tired himself out, he'll happily retreat to his kennel, curling up in a puppy puddle alongside his friends.

Recently, Enzo has proudly mastered the 'sit' command and although he gets very over-excited at being told he’s a good boy the first few times, he’s getting better and better each time we work on it! His love of food makes him particularly eager to learn, and he's proving to be a clever little guy with his training. With consistency and patience, Enzo will no doubt develop into a well-mannered and obedient companion.

At an estimate, we think Enzo will grow to around Labrador size as an adult. He also has a big personality to match his big heart, and would settle well into a family home where he can enjoy lots of attention and fun. He would thrive in a moderately active home with a garden where he can burn off his energy, and while he's adaptable, he'd need a gradual introduction to a more busy city environment. A more rural setting would suit him perfectly.

Enzo would make a wonderful addition to a family with other dogs, and he's shown himself to be gentle and playful with dogs of all sizes. He hasn't yet been introduced to cats, but he may learn to live alongside confident felines given proper introductions. As he’s a young pup, Enzo will need an owner committed to continuing his training and socialisation to help him grow into the best version of himself. With his loving nature, playful antics, and endless charm, Enzo is sure to make a fantastic companion and we can’t wait to see him get the new beginning he deserves.

Enzo is currently based in Cyprus and has a clean bill of health. He is ready to travel once he finds his forever home.
