About Luisa

Luisa is one of six siblings born to Sally, a gentle Hound/Labrador mix who gave birth in the shelter. Luisa is now ready to start her life in a home and is looking for adopters who can offer her structure, calm and consistency. She’s expected to grow to medium to large size and has a playful, friendly temperament.

Luisa is a gentle and kind hearted pup, and forms strong bonds with the people she’s familiar with. She’s soft in nature and seeks reassurance when separated from her siblings, often looking for a calm presence to help her find her confidence again. She loves to be held and cuddled, and is very trusting with those who treat her with patience and care. She’ll thrive in a home where she has a calm, gentle introduction to life as a companion.

Luisa has grown up in a shelter environment, so she’s unfamiliar with the routines of home life. Her new family will need to help her adjust slowly and give her space to learn. She gets along well with other dogs and could happily join a household with a resident dog, though this isn’t essential.

She would suit a home with children over six, and in a quieter setting outside of the city. Luisa is used to peaceful surroundings and would benefit from direct access to a garden. She enjoys playing with her littermates and is curious and interactive with people too.

Luisa will need patient training and continued social experiences to build her confidence in new situations and set her up for a well balanced future.
