About Simi
Meet Simi, a gorgeous and lively young pup with a personality just as beautiful as her appearance. Found as a stray without her mother or siblings, Simi arrived at the shelter all by herself a few weeks ago and has settled in without any qualms. Now around four months old, she is eager to find her forever home.
Simi is incredibly people oriented. She thrives on human interaction and is always seeking out affection. She's confident, curious, and fearless in new situations, boldly exploring her surroundings and always up for investigating new things. Nothing seems to phase her, and her independent nature makes her a natural explorer. She’s keen to learn more about her surroundings and be it a strange leaf, the hose left out, or a new dog arriving, Simi will go and check it out.
Although she’s only a puppy we can see Simi already has a chunky build and we’re expecting her to grow into a medium to large sized dog. She's already proven herself to be highly intelligent and trainable, even in a busy, high adrenaline environment. She has quickly mastered the 'sit' command in exchange for a treat and sits beautifully for a reward.
In addition to her confidence, Simi is also wonderfully sociable. She loves playing with other dogs and fits in well with pups of all sizes at the shelter. Whether she's stealing a ball, gnawing a rope toy, or tumbling around with her pals, Simi's playfulness is really lovely to watch. She's equally enthusiastic about spending time with people and would be a great companion for a family seeking an affectionate and social dog.
Simi’s love for food will prove helpful for ongoing training! She is also very eager to please and will thrive with continued guidance and 1-2-1 focus. As she’s still teething, she would be best suited to a home with slightly older children who can understand this natural puppy phase, but she genuinely means no harm, she is just a baby navigating the world in the only way she knows how.
Simi would flourish in a family home where she can be involved in daily activities. Ideally, she'd love a home with direct access to a garden, giving her space to explore and play. We have no doubt that Simi is going to grow into a loyal and devoted companion, and someone is going to be so lucky to welcome this girl onto their home.
Simi is currently based in Cyprus and has a clean bill of health. She is ready to travel once she finds her forever home.
