About Yellow
Handsome Yellow is a lovely young dog, estimated to be just over a year old, who was abandoned alongside his brother in a public pound before being brought to safety. Unfortunately we don’t know anything else about Yellow’s history, but we do know that he is now much happier with us and ready to find his new family!
Yellow is an active, intelligent dog with a confident and friendly nature. He is full of character and charm, and quickly makes a positive impression on those he meets. Yellow is particularly affectionate and thrives on human interaction, always keen to seek out cuddles and attention from familiar faces. He is also more than happy to make friends with new people too, especially if you’ve got treats!
Yellow has an obedient, keen to please and highly trainable personality. He enjoys learning new things and responds well to structure and routine, making him a great fit for someone who would enjoy building a bond through training. His eagerness to please and steady confidence already show how much potential he has as a companion, and in a home with 1-2-1 focus this will only continue to improve.
Yellow walks very nicely on the lead and loves being out and about. He would suit an active home with access to outdoor space and regular opportunities to explore. Yellow enjoys the company of other dogs and has shown himself to be sociable and playful, though he is equally confident and does not rely on other dogs for security or comfort.
Because of his size and enthusiasm, we feel Yellow would be best placed in a home with slightly older children who are comfortable around bigger dogs. He means no harm, but he may be a little much for very young children as he is roughly Labrador sized and still only an adolescent dog.
Yellow is looking for a home without cats due to his energetic nature and lack of proper exposure to them - we just don’t think he’s quite the right match. However, he would do well either as a second dog in a home with a friendly, playful resident pup or as an only dog, provided he has plenty of interaction and engagement.
Yellow is affectionate, clever and ready for adventure. He is looking for a family who will offer him the love, structure and companionship he deserves. If you are after a friendly, trainable and loyal companion to join your family, he’s right here!
